My current apartment lease that I share with my mom is almost up, and the rent is too pricey for us to renew it, and I’d rather not move in with my dad because of his transphobic and abusive tendencies, and it wouldn’t allow me to bring my cat.

However! A friend in Wisconsin has found a cheap place for us to share, but I’m all the way out in California. I plan to drive there, but I’m barely making $140 a paycheck every 3 weeks, and it’s at least $1,500 to move out including the down payment for rent and the U-Haul trailer, and then I also have to get my care completely fixed up: oil changed, smog check, A/C fixed, there’s a leak in the steering fluid canister, which might be ~$1,000, AND I’d need to pay for gas all the way there, which would be at least $300.

Even a dollar helps, $1 is $1 closer to me being in a safer household. Please share if you can!
